2010: Lester Fortier becomes the president of Toys for Tots.
2012: Special 35th Anniversary pin, maroon shirt. Largest parade ever. 70,000 riders.
2013: 20,000 riders
2014: 37th Parade. Santa's passenger is a "Make-a-wish" dreamer whose wish was granted by being in The Parade. Governor Rauner rides and donates $5000. 50,000 riders estimated.
2015: 38th Parade. Santa passenger is an injured veteran who wanted to see The Parade. Over 50,000 riders. Last time for the Belmont Overpass.
2016: 39th Parade. 8:30am start. Small
crowd, because snow forecasted. No snow during Parade, heavy snowfall at the end. Gov. Rauner donates $5000 again but can't ride due to prior commitments. No Belmont/Riverview bridge.
2017: 40th Parade. 35 degrees at the start, reached 56 degrees. Large attendance. Governor rides and donates $5000.
2018: 41st Parade. Mid 40 degrees. Cloudy, some rain. 20,000-30,000 riders. Last time The Parade ends at the DeVry/Lane Tech campus. 50 bicycles donated by Cambium Network.
2019: 42nd Parade.
