This confirms the rumors that there will be a "Scorchin' Scooter" again this year. This will be the fourth collectible Hot Wheel cycle to commemorate The Chicagoland Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade. Our people say that this cycle will be a brilliant, silver color, which coincides with the Silver Anniversary of the Chicago TFT Parade. The word is that this bike will come with Biker Bear, the American Flag, with the words "Toys for Tots", "Remember 9-11-01" , and "25 Years Chicagoland Motorcycle Parade" on its sleek bodywork. |

Here it is folks! The Chicagoland Toys For Tots Parade Organization is proud to announce the newest addition to the Chicago Toys For Tots-Hot Wheels Collection, the third Chicagoland Toys For Tots Motorcycle Parade Hot Wheels Motorcycle. This year, the special Mattel collector's keepsake celebrates the Christmas Season with a beautiful, brilliant, red metal flake paint job, and features our own Biker Bear, The TFT logo, and the USMC and POW-MIA insignias. The third motorcycle in the Chicago Toys For Tots-Hot Wheels series will be made available only to the Chicagoland motorcycle community, and the price of the 2000 Scorchin' Scooter is only $19.95
The new 2000 Toys For Tots Mattel Hot Wheels Motorcycle is available at all Toys For Tots meetings at The Toys For Tots Headquarters, Stempien VFW, on 47th Street at Tripp Avenue.

Hot Wheels Bikes are GOING...GOING...
This has been a very successful year for the sales of TFT merchandise. All of our products were sold on the day of The Parade, the only exception being the Chicago TFT Hot Wheels motorcycles. A small number of the 2000 bikes, and an even smaller number of the 1999 model, are still available.
And thanks to everyone who purchased TFT products. The profits were used to buy thousands of additional toys for deserving children.

The first Official Chicagoland Toys For Tots Motorcycle Parade Video, by Chicago TFT member Jack Voss, features on-bike coverage of the 1996 Chicagoland Toys For Tots Motorcycle Parade, starting in the Dan Ryan Woods, then the ride on Western Avenue, and the end of The Parade at The Marine Reserve Center. In the second half of the tape shows all the fun at The World's Largest Toys For Tots Party, held in the Rosemont Convention Center.

20TH ANNIVERSARY VIDEO SPECTACULARThe second volume in The Chicago Toys For Tots Video Collection is a special documentary made by one of our Chicago Toys For Tots volunteers, Jack Voss, to honor the 20th Anniversary of the Chicago TFT Parade, and the 50th Anniversary of The USMC Toys For Tots Program. This tape not only covers the 20th Annual Chicago TFT Parade, but also looks back at highlights from past TFT Parades, and reveals the history of The Parade as told by Ed "Aminal" Wisniewski, the originator of The Chicago Toys For Tots Parade. It also shows the TFT volunteers as they accompany Santa and his elves and distribute toys to children in many hospitals in the Chicago area. All this, plus many more surprises, make this a tape to treasure for future generations.
