You could become a volunteer for the
Chicagolands Greatest Motorcycle Parade.
For 30 years this organization has been
collecting toys and aiding deserving children monetarily throughout
Chicago and surrounding areas. This motorcycle event has become one
of the most exciting motorcycle events in America each year .On the
first Sunday in December, thousands of motorcyclist come to Chicago
to donate brand new toys to the USMC Toys for Tots Program. They
ride their motorcycles decorated with brand new toys and motorcade
down Western avenue, in what has become known as " The World's
Greatest Motorcycle Parade" to help children. This year it is being
held on Sunday December 2nd, 2007. In order to do this we
need hundreds of dedicated volunteers who plan and organize this
annual event. We need people to assist with all aspects of parade
management, organization and preparation. As a volunteer we need the
talents of writers for brochures, truck drivers, toy wrappers,
printers, road blockers, sidecar drivers and people to collect, sort
and deliver toys. And remember, you do not have to have a
motorcycle to join.
So come join us at our annual Kick Off
Party on Saturday, September 22,2007 from 5:00 pm until 11:00pm. It
is being held at our headquarters, which is Stempien's VFW Post #
8821 located at 4235 West 47th Street (Corner of 47th
and Tripp). There will be food, door prizes, raffles and
musical entertainment by Timings Everything. Here you can learn more
about the organization, meet other Parade members, and register to
be part of one of Chicago's longest running charitable
organizations. Membership fees are $15 for new members, and $10
annually for renewing members. Membership includes a subscription to
the Parade newsletter, the official Parade Patch and yearly rockers,
and free admission to the annual Marine Corp Birthday Party.

of Chicago's most dynamic and diverse motorcycle organizations and
are enthusiastic about wanting to help unfortunate children. Come
join us for our 30th year celebration in Chicagoland.
