A Message from TFT Parade President Robert Kuczera

Thanks to TFT Volunteers Kick Off Party & IFR/ Gold Star Mother Motorcycle Ride Escort Update.

Thanks to all our volunteers/guest who helped this weekend in preparing and working at Stempiens VFW Post for the largest turn out ever for our 29th Annual Kick Off Party . Especially our product coordinator Tomada  & Barry "Big Red"  Conley and all her committee staff for having all our product merchandised and available

The comments on the street are already gratifying for their hard work.  Comments like "they like  the new design and looks" and "It's about time we had some color again"  The ladies like the new styles for them.  Do not forget all the TFT product is now available via Visa and Master Card charge cards.  Thanks to Stars and Stripes for fitting us into their schedule  to have the product ready  for the party.  Thanks to the Collectible Committee (Andy Strzemp aka (IGID)/ I'll get it done, and his reliable team of Meg, Rick and Ellen for having the crystal cubes (selling like Hotcakes already) and our 4th Christmas ornament ready.  Thanks to all the officers that contributed in networking and greeting new faces for this year: Lester Fortier, Pat Quinn, Peggy Estes, Frank Moraza, Tommy Rotto and Kevin Curth.  Be it you paid bills parked bikes, delivered food or sorted door prizes, you are the representatives and thanks for  helping.  Special thanks to our chefs and food artists known as: Barb, Sue and Vinnie.  Maybe we should just name the kitchen:  Barb, Sue & Vinnies Kitchen. Thanks to Arturo, Olivia, Florence and Terri for assisting raffles and Peggy and Chopper as door greeters. Terri really likes us, she gave us $135 back to from the 50/50 to assist our down riders, alla biker tradition.  Thanks to Central Printers for having all our 25,000 flyers so we can start tagging the businesses and your favorite hang outs.  Thanks to the Wisniewskis for disbursing out TFT gifts to the membership.  Thanks to all those that brought food and door prizes.  Could still use more as we are just starting our meeting dates.  Almost forgot to thank the iceman John Purchase. Note : John & Olivia Bartosiewicz should have our bike tickets for the 2007 Street Glide with alarm and custom TFT tank as should Jimbo Fischer and Tom Dertz have  Sturgis Tickets by the first General Meeting.  So thanks ahead of time. The bike will be on display at Oak Lawn Harley Davidson in November and it will be a pearl black bike.  Thanks to our friend Bill Wildt.  On Sunday he interviewed Jack Voss and Tom Zordani to premier the new TFT product for a future Motorsport Unlimited show via the JC Whitney car show .

If you missed the party for whatever reason you missed a good time .The intro before the  food was served (pledge/prayer) was one that will not be forgotten as a very young lady (12-year Aubrey) humbled all of us by singing God Bless America.  This young lady gave many of us goose bumps and a few tears.  We could not stop applauding and our sometimes boisterous crowd chanted for an encore which she granted.  We will be bringing her back.  Definitely a future star and forget about American Idol & Star Search, she has what it takes and she got our vote to become Chicagoland's TFTMP Idol that night.  Pam Luna thanks for the tip. Shortly thereafter Tony and Nobody's Business rocked  the place with some Classic Rock and Blues.

Throughout the night we had special presentations and guests stopping by among them : Sertoma's Little Linda and Barb donating $1000 back to us.  Thank you.  US Army's Jason Rickert just returning from Bagdad and wanting to be part of our Kick off.  God Bless and pray for a safe return for him, he is going back this Saturday.  Collectible gift designers Yuming & Yin Liu who became members that night.  Mike  Panzer -President for South Suburban ABATE announcing their Halloween Benefit for 11 year old Peter Tilecky on October 21st, Garret Wilking's best friend, David and volunteers kindly being present for gifting us with $7,500.  It was already decided by the board to give half back to them to aid children in the Kankakee and Chebanse areas via their first Poker Run.  Some of the Chicago Sirens of Roller Derby fame based out of Fleetwood Roller Rink stopped by to promo how they like to aid those in need.  Note they are undefeated representing Toys for Tots.  Robin whom is riding across America for New Orleans Humanity and to assist women riders, she had just finished nearly 14,000 miles and was accompanied by Frankie " Hot Dog" and Pat Jones, President Chicago Abate to join the fun.  Do not forget Chicago Abates Parrot Head Party on 10/29/06.

So once again thank you to all our volunteers for whatever you do and also to the entire motorcycling community among them: CMA/Christian Motorcycle Association, all the ABATE Chapters:(South Suburban/Chicago/Westgate), AVMRA/American  Veterans Motorcycle Riders Association IFR/Illinois Freedom Run and LAMA/Latin American Motorcycle Association.  The various HOG Chapters among them: Oak Lawn, Oak Park and Wild Fire, thanks for being part of the 29th Annual Chicagoland Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade. If I missed anyone we thank you also.
