3rd Down First Annual Poker Run: This weekend TFT Volunteer and owner of Third Down (JIMBO) is hosting his first Annual Poker Run to assist one of the many motorcycle organizations he belongs to. It is this Saturday at 4839 So. Central in Stickney, Ill. For his First Poker Run the proceeds will be donated to the Freedom Run.  So if you are looking for a ride this Fourth of July weekend start it at the Third Down this Saturday July 1^st.  Sign up is at 11:00 am.  It is a $5.00 donation a person.  Free T- shirts until they run out.  For more info call: 708-458-0804.

July 9, 2006.  Warehouse Sale Day.  WEEEEEREE BACK!  BARGAIN DAYS for TFT PRODUCTS at tremendous savings. Once again all products will be marked down to prices of once in a lifetime deals. Same prices as we had at the SWAPARAMA . Doors will open at 10am until 6 PM at 8900 S. Odell in Bridgeview. You will also get to see a sneak peak of our new Crystal Collectible and we will accept Early Bird orders for them. July 15, 2006.  Garrett Wilking Memorial Poker Run.  Garrett Wilking was a big supporter of the TFT Parade  who was killed in a motorcycle accident. The First Annual Poker Run in memory of Garrett Wilking will be Saturday, July 15.  Proceeds will benefit The Chicago TFT Parade.  Rain or Shine, open to all modes of transportation. Sign ups at Route Fifty North Bar and Grill in Manteno, Illinois from 10 am to 12 pm.      There will be food, music, raffles and drawings.  Garrett was a terrific young man and in his short 21 years he touched a lot of people and we want to do this for him. The TFT Parade really meant a lot to him and he was proud to ride and give a child a little brighter day!!

July 16,2006.  TFT Road Blockers Needed for The 18^TH Annual Ride For Kids. Once again our good friend and long time TFT member Phil Dustin is looking for some of our experienced road blockers to assist the Ride for Kids on July 16,2006 .  It is their 18^th Annual. New location is Allstate Insurance, 51 West Higgins Road, S. Barrington, Ill. Registration starts at 7AM. If not volunteering minimum donations is $35 per motorcycle. July 18, 2006  Tuesday: TFT Roller Derby Night: Remember those days when Raquel Welch (Kansas City Bomber –1972) manhandled??????? OK! OK! On July 18^th Tomada has worked out a deal for us to be entertained by The Chicago Sirens of Roller Derby fame. It will be TFT Rolling Road Blockers verses CUFFS Traffic Directors? It starts at 7:30 pm at the Fleetwood Roller Rink located at 7231 S. Archer in Summit Ill. It should be a lot of fun. Proceeds from these skating Maddening Manhandling Maidens will benefit both TFT and CUFFS. Admission is $10.00 dollars. July 19, 2006  Wednesday  TFT Parade Board of Directors Meeting  At the TFT Parade Warehouse, 8900 South Odell in Bridgeview.  Tire Leaders and Assistants are asked to attend.

 JOE BILLY: TFT# 50.  For those that did not hear, Joe did not make it thru his recovery. We lost Joe on 6/22/06. Joe Billy was TFT #5O and a well-respected member and friend. He lost his wife Terry (Irish) some years back. She also was a member and his boss. Many nights Joe would offer suggestions after a few beverages and many of those nights with all good intent, Irish would finish his explanation. Joe the TFT veteran was actually one of the many who welcomed the new members at the meetings. At times it can be a bit scary coming into your first TFT meeting. Joe would make you feel welcome. He stayed with us over 25 years always helping out on the North Side to make sure everyone was safe and he welcome everyone into the USMCR Center. He had suffered quite a bit in the last few months and his loss has ended his suffering. We all know Joe will again someday be Standing Tall and he will welcome us again someday as TFT friends. He is now with his Dearest Love and his boss and always his wife Terry (Irish) so he has to be smiling, as she truly was the love of his life. Joe Billy thank you for your years of service and until we meet again may the Good Lord welcome you to welcome others. God Bless Joe Billy and may you forever rest in peace
