Dear members of TFT and motorcycling friends of TFT

As of this past Tuesday 2/19/08 the newly elected officers for 2008 are in command.

Good luck to them all.

I have been on the board for nearly 12 years and proudly have served as the big little guy for nearly half of them. My commitment was always 100% no matter who was on the board. I did the best I could, as I did not get to pick this baseball team annually. Some years the team was better than others, but those who believed in our objectives were always committed. The board for 2007 was the best one I served with. Thank you. Those remaining on the board from 2007 have the experience and knowledge to mentor the new officers elected. So this year's election process made it easier to pass the torch, as there was not a wallflower among the candidates. The newly elected board showed they have the ambition and passion for the future. They all have the heart and desire to take TFT into the next decade. I would like to thank all the sincere board members who have served for the last twelve years...you know who you are. Much done could not have been accomplished without you. I would like to thank personally officers Lester, Pat, Frank, Santo and Andy for their dedication and commitment to the objectives of Toys for Tots and overcoming some tumultuous times on the board. When we were faced with some financial and some internal personality challenges, which were at times quite adversarial to say the least, their true of heart persevere. Their stamina and dedication to be prudent in decision-making and their fortitude to withstand any controversy in order to make decisions were impeccable. They were indeed committed to doing the right thing for Toys for Tots. I see these virtues in our new officers as they also have their heart in the right place. So there is indeed a comfort level for me to move on to another path in life. As you now have both an experienced staff and dedicated rookie officers who will be faithful to our organizational missions and purposes.

Personally I have been a bit challenged since I left the corporate world or they left me last February. My life has been a bit on hold, because I made Toys for Tots and some other charitable ventures a full time commitment for the remainder of the year and all by personal choice ...but it is time not to let too many other opportunities get away .I will always have Chicagoland Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade in my heart. I will still do everything I can to promote the good things we do, while here. I have been doing public relations since Ed "Aminal" Wisniewski appointed me and I will continue to do so and mentor however I can. But now if a road changes direction I can stay on it a bit longer, as a committed factor is a bit lessened. It is easier to get somewhere on the road, when there is less in your path of direction. Somehow or another I feel charitable work will be involved in wherever that road leads.

I truly believe your new officers will be able to set the goals and objectives for the future. In life it is not how much you get but how much you give... right now I feel that you have those that can give. Good luck to Santo Procenti and your new team. As stated earlier you have a great nucleus of officers, so stay focused and work with them, as they are there to help you maintain the 31st year of our iconic benevolent actions.

Thanks to all those that supported me in TFT and I will never forget you or your volunteerism. Thanks to all those behind the scenes for your knowledge and guidance. Too many to list ....a big thanks to our communications staff for many advisories (Jack Voss, Kevin Curth, Danette Wetterer and Pat Quinn), as you were always readily available to inform our audience via our web site and newsletter. Thanks to all our dedicated volunteers for my 12 years on the board... you made Toys for Tots become truly part of my motorcycling life and family. Thanks to the entire motorcycling community for your belief in us.

I will never forget all your contributions and assistance in making us worldly known as: The Worlds Largest Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade and Chicagolands Best Organization to aid those in need, especially children at Christmas for the last 30 years and forever into the future. God bless you all and keep the name proud in all the TFT traditions. My memories of Toys for Tots will not be forgotten and will always be cherished because of your committed sincerity to voluntarily serve others.

Formerly Your Little Big Guy-President /Public Relations of Chicagoland Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade Organization.

Sincerely,

Robert "Cooch" Kuczera TFT # 129
