Jack's Update #46    March 2004

The 2004 Harley-Davidson Raffle held at Oak Lawn Harley-Davidson on March 13th was an exciting event. Hundreds of folks came out to witness the drawing, most with the hope of possibly riding home on a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Everyone enjoyed the hospitality, and the refreshments, supplied by our friends at Oak Lawn Harley-Davidson.

The lucky winner of the 2004 Harley was Jon Morris of Glen Ellyn. The winner of the $500 leather jacket donated by Oak Lawn Harley-Davidson was Jim Veres of Oak Lawn. The $200 gift certificate from Oak Lawn Harley-Davidson was won by Leo Gonzales from Burbank. The three winners of official Chicago TFT Parade Jackets are Louie Bentivenga, Jim McMahon, and Eilish Cary.
Congratulations to all the winners, and thanks to everyone who participated in the raffle.  Special thanks to Raffle Director John Bartosiewicz, and everyone on the Raffle Crew, including his wife Olivia, plus Bob, Karen and Cindy, for all their hard work.

Have you been searching for a TFT Parade Pin from a past year?

Many people are looking for old TFT Pins, so here is the latest news about what pins are available, and how to obtain them, from our "Pin Lady" Linda.

Hi!   Just a few lines from the "Pin Lady".
I have checked and we still have pins from the following years: 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1996, 2001, & 2002. Please let people know that if they send a list of the pins they need, along with a check ($3.00 per pin) made out to "Chicagoland Toys for Tots Parade", I will send them via US Mail. They can either send their requests & checks to the TFT P.O. Box, or to my work address, SGS, 16130 Van Drunen Road, South Holland, IL 60473 Attn: Linda.

Checks must have the person's name, address, phone number, and Driver's License number on them, and again must be made payable to "Chicagoland Toys For Tots Motorcycle Parade". Cost is $3.00 per pin regardless of number or years ordered.

We are always looking to buy back pins from previous years. The most sought after pins being 1997, 1998, & 2000. We pay $3.00 per pin. They go into our inventory and are resold at $3.00 per pin.

Regards, Lin
