Kick-off Party, held at the Stempien VFW

The evenings entertainment was provided by
the band "Nobodys Business", who rocked the VFW, along with some
exciting special appearances by TFT Parade members Artie
Waner and Tony Rome.

The Parade shirts with the new design for
2003 were also unveiled. The new gray-colored apparel sports two
very colorful new drawings of the Parade mascot Biker Bear, one
aboard his motorcycle
and another presenting gifts to children.
If the Kick-off
Party is any sign of things to come, this should be a great year
for The Parade Organization.

The Chicago Toys for Tots Motorcycle Parade is one of the most popular motorcycle events in America, and the favorite run of many riders. In less than two months, thousands of generous motorcyclists will cruise into The Windy City to donate toys and ride together through Chicago.
The many toys and monies generated by this event will be used to make a brighter, happier Christmastime for many children and their families.
First Meeting of 2003
The first meeting of the new season will be this Friday (Oct. 10th) at the Stempien VFW, 47th Street and Tripp Avenue, at 7:30pm. At this meeting, and those that follow, the Parade Staff will organize the Volunteers into specific groups, with special duties, which are necessary to ensure a smooth and safe event.
Anyone who is interested in lending a hand and helping at the Parade is invited to come to this meeting. All sorts of help are needed, and remember, you do NOT have to ride a motorcycle to help at The Parade.
Come out and be part of one of America's favorite motorcycle events.
Please note that all the General Meetings will start promptly at 7:30pm.

New Parade MerchandiseThe 2003 T-shirts, pocket-Ts and sweatshirts are now gray-colored and sport two new, colorful designs that feature Chicago TFT Parade mascot Biker Bear. The new Chicago TFT Parade merchandise may be purchased at all General Meetings, at The Dan Ryan Woods on Parade Day, and at The Parade Warehouse. The Parade Warehouse, located at 8900 South Odell Avenue in Bridgeview, will be open on October 17 and 31, and November 28, all Fridays.This Halloween evening, come to the scary, and possibly haunted, old TFT Parade Warehouse. Here you will see some of the strangest, scariest creatures on earth. But don't be afraid, they are usually very gentle. Come and observe them, and make them happy by buying some Parade products. Come to 8900 South Odell, in Bridgeview, after dark, if you dare. BOO!
